Pet alert, pet alert

Postby frozen tundra » Wed Aug 02, 2017 7:24 pm

Many of us travel with our favorite critter, for us it is our cat Izzy. This alert can pertain to dogs also. Last weekend was our first outing with the new 34RL2, it was great! Packing up to go home on Sunday we could not find our Izzy, she is a cat that rarely meow's and when she does you can hardly hear her. We looked high and low for 45 minutes for our little fur ball and while doing so discovered that behind the recycling cabinet it is completely open to the area under the bathroom which is open to the entire underbelly! For sure we wondered if somehow she got in there when that cabinet was open? Knowing cats she could have slept in there all day and then some! Becoming very worried the search intensified, looking in every nook and cranny. While doing so I noticed under our bed towards the head of the bed there was a little 3"X6" opening on each side of the bed near the floor that is open to where the bed hydraulics is located. I lifted the bed, lifted the panel that is over the hydraulics and sure enough, our Izzy!

So this is a warning to check your rigs especially the new models and seal up the openings with some screening or you just might be sitting at the campground longer than you want to. You know our pets rule the house.
