Kodiak disc brakes

Postby Eliza & Jack » Wed May 17, 2017 8:17 pm

I installed Kodiak disc brakes and brake actuator. Everything is installed except the drivers side rotor because they sent me 1/2 in stud instead of 9/16. Will post pictures of the install as soon as I get the exchange parts.
If you decide to take this on, don't order dacromet coating. It seems etrailer don't stock the 9/16 rotors so I have been waiting for 3 weeks for wrong rotors in one of the boxes.

Hey George,
Looks like 4 and a half. Running the brake lines took some time because i shortened every line and reflared them. I also removed the races out of the hubs and installed NTN bearings and races made in U.S. and Japan. I still need to bleed the brakes as soon as i get the rotors. Not a hard job to do at all.

Jack I hope you are at home, I am guessing you cant move until you get another hub and rotor to complete your install. the brakes will work great for you.
