George and Ann Marie, I feel your pain....On our Alaska trip we broke the front landing leg couldn't get the trailer off the truck, so for about 2 weeks until we get it fixed we were a motorhome :D Continue safe travels and enjoy the amazing scenery.

Attached is our outline for our Alaska 2017 Trip in a pdf.
Just a side note.
I sectioned the trip so our family and friends would know "kind-of" where we would be in the country at a certain date.
Our intent is to use this as our guide and to become familiar with a new part of the country, but to deviate and explore at will.
The "Pre-Trip Notes" are only some of items of interest, plus any Tour Saver Coupon Book- buy 1, get 1 deals that we were interested in using.
Maybe this can help some one in planning their Alaskan trip.

George that's about the same route that we took....except we took the ferry from Skagway to Haines and then drove from Haines to Haines Junction on the way to Toke and Fairbanks. Coming back we entered the US into Idaho :D :D
Continued safe travels and enjoy :D

Make sure you look at the weather vane at the Whitehorse airport.

Hey Pete, they moved the DC3 to the front of the Yukon Transportation Museum. Awesome, only a 4km breeze and that plane spins like a top!
